Configuration Surface
Event Types
Define what events your property recognizes:
- Check-out completed
- Bed state changed
- Manager action
- System-triggered events
Trigger Rules
Build automation rules:
- Choose an event type
- Define conditions
- Select timing (immediate, after a duration, at next local time)
- Link to trigger actions
Trigger Actions
Define what happens when a trigger fires:
- Create a task of a specific type
- Assign to a role or specific person
- Set priority level
- Add default notes
Key Differences from Manager
| Area | Manager | Admin |
|---|---|---|
| Quality Reviews | Full access | Not available |
| Configuration | Standard | Full |
| System Settings | Read-only | Read/write |
Best Practices
- Use event types and trigger rules to reduce manual task creation
- Review automation output regularly to ensure rules are working as expected
- Keep task types organized — archive unused types rather than deleting
