Lost & Found
The Lost & Found feature lets housekeepers report items found during cleaning and enables reception to manage claims from guests.
Reporting an Item
Housekeepers can report lost items directly from the task execution screen:
- During or after completing a task, tap Report Lost Item
- Describe the item (type, color, distinguishing features)
- Note where it was found (room number, area)
- Attach evidence (photos are especially helpful)
- Submit — the item appears in the Lost & Found queue
Evidence Types
- Photos — Show the item clearly
- Text Notes — Additional details
Managing Items
Reception View
Reception sees all reported items with details:
- Item description
- Location found
- Date and time reported
- Evidence (photos, notes)
- Claim status
Claiming an Item
When a guest claims their item:
- Find the item in the list
- Tap Mark as Claimed
- Record who claimed it (guest name or room number)
Manager and Admin View
Managers and admins have full visibility into:
- All reported items
- Claim status
- History of claims
- Resolution tracking
Best Practices
- Take a clear photo of the item when reporting
- Note the exact location where it was found
- Report items promptly so guests can reclaim them before checkout
- Use detailed descriptions to help match items to guests
